Dominic Fike, best known for his starring role in Season 2 of HBO's Euphoria, is talented in

more aspects than just acting. The actor is also fairly popular within the music industry with hits such as 3 Nights and Babydoll. His debut album What Could Possibly Go Wrong was released in July 2020 in the midst of covid. He has since made his name within the industry and displayed the perfect mix of hip hop, rock and pop all into just a few songs.
This December 1st and 2nd, Dominic made a stop in NYC's very own, TERMINAL 5 and I was lucky enough to experience night one at barricade. Although I had never been to this venue prior to this night and have heard mixed reviews on it, I could not have asked for a better first experience.
VIP/Early entry pass holders were let into the venue around 6:30 whereas the rest of the General Admission ticket holders were let in at 7pm. Being an early entry pass holder, I was one of the fist to enter the venue. At first glance, the venue seems a bit intimidating as it is in the alley of upper Manhattan however, upon entering, I was not expecting there to be three floors worth of views.
Fike had an alternative/ rock band called Baird open up for him, this band came onstage around 8pm wearing lizard heads... yes you read that correctly. I was bit skeptical at first but then remembered just how true the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover" was because the vibes and performance that this band put on was unlike anything I had experienced prior.

Fike later took the stage and upon entering, he took a minute to look into the crowd and said his hello's before grabbing his guitar and starting off the night with Westcoast Collective. Throughout the night, Fike had to stop a series of times due to fans passing out due to the overwhelming crowd and lack of water. Fike was always engaging with the crowd and even instructed concert goers to stay hydrated and take care of each other. However, despite the pausing of the show, he did not disappoint, as his energy was always matched by the crowd.. and even security guards.
He later ended the set by walking off stage and then coming back after endless chants for an encore of his hit Phone Numbers before walking off one last time.
This show was truly incredible and Dominic Fike could not have begun his first night in NYC on a better note. Go check out his music if you have the chance. I'll be leaving MY PERSONAL FAVORITE songs at the bottom of this article.
lots of love,
