About Hollywood Hal

For as long as I could remember, I have always had a love for the entertainment industry... the music industry to be more exact. I remember spending every Sunday night watching American Idol with my mom to see who would go on to the next round and end up taking home the trophy. I have a love for going to concerts, with my earliest memory being 8 years old and having front row-center seats for The Cheetah Girls. Since then, I have been to a total of over 50 concerts and have even traveled to see some of my favorite artists.  (Sounds crazy, I know).

As I got older, I was also given opportunities to attend live tapings such as Total Request Live (TRL) and Good Morning America (GMA). After attending TRL for the first time and seeing what goes on behind the scenes of a show, that is when I made the decision to change my major from Early Childhood Education to Communications and Media Arts.

This blog will combine both my love for writing as well as my love for music / concerts.  Here I will be talking about my experiences at live events as well as offer some concert tips and tricks for those reading along the way.
